B2B is going digital like B2C. B2B needs apps 📱 and websites to interact with its employees and customers 👨💼 about quotes, orders, production or even support.
These apps must be highly personalized 🛠️ to closely match the company's business, its culture and its mode of communication with its customers.
We were consulted by an industrial company wishing to create an app to allow its customers to make quotes online and to follow the progress of their orders.
The products were highly technical and the possiblities of personnalization were high.

If we had used classical development tools like React.js + Node.js + MySQL (or MongoDB), this project would have taken between 5 and 10 times more time and budget, for a similar result.
The use of a specialized quotation tool or CRM would have cost 10 times more expensive in terms of subscription.
The Appsheet platform also presents advantages in terms of ease of evolution , security, and offline mode .

The app allows the customer to enter his needs in the form of parameters (material, dimensions, etc.) and will perform calculations and consult scales in order to propose the price of personalized pieces .
The scales are managed in tables easily administered. The calculations are modeled as formulas very similar to spreadsheet formulas. Access rights and security are managed by the platform.
So the whole thing is quick and easy to evolve in the event of a change in scales or method of calculation.
